After long desire and movement the community radio is going to open publicly in Bangladesh. The Government has formulated the community radio policy and come ahead with the permission for setting up community radio round the country. Under this circumstances, AMIC, BNNRC and UNB jointly organized a seminar on "Peoples Voices, Peoples Participation and Community Radio" in Dhaka on 04 May 2008.

Dr. Shamim Reza of Dhaka University presented a presentation on the " Community Mobilization for Community Radio in Bangladesh".
